Pathway (Equivalent to 3 A Levels)

Three A Level equivalent subjects in this pathway: Law,  Mental Health, and Health & Social Care.

CONTENT

The Law pathway brings together expertise in psychology, law, mental heath, and health & social care and would be an excellent choice for students interested in professions in fields such as the National Probation Service, the Courts and Tribunals Service, the Police or health & social care. Throughout this engaging course, you will gain an understanding of why people commit crime, influences on perceptions of crime and an understanding of the criminal justice system – from crime identification through to the final verdict. This pathway could lead you to study a degree in law, criminology, psychology, sociology or social care.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To join this pathway , you’ll need four GCSEs at grades 9-4 including Maths and English

ASSESSMENT

Each pathway is equivalent to three A Levels. You will be assessed through coursework and externally examined units.
