Graduate Programmes
You will be enrolled on to a Graduate Programme in addition to your chosen study subjects. These unique programmes, developed by Christ the King Sixth Forms, are designed to increase engagement with your academic studies, improve your confidence and give you the edge when applying for universities and jobs.
Professional Graduate Programme
If you are studying a BTEC Level 3 course, this specialist programme is equivalent to 3 A Levels and enables you to progress to universities throughout the UK, including some Russell Group institutions. You will have access to professional opportunities to enhance your learning. Each programme is tailored to make sure it is relevant to industry needs and university entry requirements in your area of study.
As a Professional Graduate Programme student, you will have the unique opportunity to gain additional professional qualifications, which will give you a competitive edge when making university or job applications. You will access a bespoke progression and careers programme. You will gain specialised support in your first year to help you make the transition from Level 2 to Level 3 study.
Aspiring Graduate Programme
The Aspiring Graduate Programme is designed for you if you don’t yet have the grades to join an advanced level 3 qualification, yet you show talent, ambition and commitment to being the best you can be in your subject choice – whether through natural ability or determination.
The programme gives you opportunities to consolidate your learning to support progression to Level 3 courses. Each Aspiring Graduate Programme is tailored to meet your needs. This ensures opportunities are directly related and essential for your studies.
You will develop self-confidence, communication and study skills, enabling you to thrive in your future. You will be inspired to make informed choices about your education, career, and life.
You will be part of a supportive tutor group, with other learners studying for Level 2 programmes of study. Your tutors will specialise in teaching Level 2 learners and will deliver a bespoke tutorial programme, catered to your needs and aspirations.
You will take part in unique Graduate Programme mornings, where you will learn new skills and take part in activities, outside of your main programme of study. You will be given specialist support with progression onto a Level 3 programme at CTK Emmanuel, CTK St Mary’s, or elsewhere. If you would like to progress into work, you’ll be given specialist support to secure an apprenticeship or employment.
Foundation Graduate Programme
If you want to progress on to a Level 2 programme of study, the Foundation Graduate Programme will help you develop effective ways of studying and give you the communications skills, business initiative and confidence you need to succeed. We will help you develop the skills to make informed choices about your future.
You will be in enrolled in a tutorial programme which offers specialist teaching on a nationally recognised qualification, which is tailored to meet your needs. You will be given support to progress onto a Level 2 programme at CTK Emmanuel or elsewhere. If you want to move into work, we will support you in seeking an apprenticeship or job.
When you apply to CTK Emmanuel, we will guide you on to the right graduate programme, based on your achievements at GCSE and your ambitions for the future.
