You will be given the tools you need to start planning your future, thanks to our strong careers programme, links with businesses and our highly successful alumni community.
To help you choose the right career or university destination, you will hear talks from graduates and undergraduates, as well as attending the annual Careers Conference.
This conference is a great opportunity to network with representatives from top universities and colleges in the UK. Find out what university destinations former students have gone to.
You will be given tailored help with UCAS applications and interviews. You will also be automatically enrolled onto one of our unique Graduate Programmes, each of which are tailored to your needs.

will be encouraged to think about your future career.
You will benefit from comprehensive, up-to-date careers information, advice and guidance from qualified advisors and help with arranging work experience. At the Careers Conference you will get the chance to meet a range of professionals, choosing from more than 100 workshops and 90 exhibitors. These cover a huge range of careers from medicine to banking, engineering, entrepreneurship and many more.
Extracurricular activities at CTK Emmanuel
Your experience at CTK Emmanuel is not just about developing professional skills and academic achievement. You will be joining a thriving, inclusive community where you will be encouraged to get involved in Sixth Form life. You will have opportunities to discover or develop your interests and talents, making new friends and contacts along the way.
Whatever your passion, you can pursue it at CTK Emmanuel. Extracurricular activities to choose from include: Drama, Media, Business, 3D Animation, Dance and Music.
Here are some of the activities that you can get involved in:
- Community projects, such as helping in primary schools and hospitals.
- Residential visits and overseas trips.
- Work shadowing and volunteering experiences.
- Retreats and pilgrimages.
- Expeditions to places such as Kenya, Alaska and the Tien Shan mountains.

Sport at CTK Emmanuel
Whether you want to play competitively as part of a team or focus on your own health and fitness, you will have the chance to join in with a range of sporting activities and take advantage of the excellent facilities at CTK Emmanuel.
There is a sport for everyone at our on-site sports facilities on the Lewisham/Blackheath borders. This includes:
- Aerobics
- Football
- Volleyball
- Badminton
- Cricket
- Basketball
- Skiing
- Netball
- Cross-country
- Weight training
- Tennis
- Table-tennis
- Fitness training
- Boxing.
As a Christ the King Sixth form student, you are welcome to use our facilities at lunchtime and after school, including:
- Sports centre
- Gym and multigym
- Four badminton courts
- Five-a-side football pitch
- Basketball court
- Cricket nets
Many of our students have achieved team and individual success both at county and international level, and we host regular visits by accomplished athletes.
You will have the opportunity to take part in our annual Sports Day which brings together all three Christ the King Sixth Form centres for a fantastic celebration of sport.
