Three A Level equivalent subjects in this pathway: Criminology, Law, Health & Social Care.
CONTENT
The Criminology pathway brings together expertise in psychology, law, sociology, criminology and health and would be an excellent choice for students interested in professions in fields such as the National Probation Service, the Courts and Tribunals Service, the Police or health & social care. Throughout this engaging course, you will gain an understanding of why people commit crime, influences on perceptions of crime and an understanding of the criminal justice system – from crime identification through to the final verdict. This pathway could lead you to study a degree in criminology, law, psychology, sociology or social care.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To join this pathway , you’ll need four GCSEs at grades 9-4 including Maths and English
ASSESSMENT
Each pathway is equivalent to three A Levels. You will be assessed through coursework and externally examined units.
