Results day 2021 success at Christ the King Sixth Forms

Another great year of results and prestigious university designations for CTK students

Students and staff at Christ the King Sixth Forms celebrated another year of examination results at all three sixth forms, with students overcoming the challenges presented by Covid19 to demonstrate grit and resilience and land top grades and university places.


BTEC students at Christ the King Sixth Forms once again excelled in their results, many achieving places at highly competitive universities. Grace Yampoue Tchine achieved the highest grades possible in her BTEC Health & Social Care of triple Distinction Star.  She secured a place at St George’s, University of London to study Occupational Therapy.  She said; “my most positive experiences at CTK have been the Teachers, the support they have given me has been amazing”.

Fellow BTEC Health & Social Care student Renee Barrington also achieved top grades of triple Distinction star and secured a highly competitive place on an Adult Nursing course at Canterbury University.  She said; “During Covid19 the teachers were so supportive, they got us books and laptops and stationary and gave up their time by putting on extra workshops to help students”.

BTEC Business student David Melenevskyy got top grades D*D*D* and is going to University of Greenwich to study Human Resource Management. He said “I’m so proud of my results, my entire experience of CTK from the first day at enrolment to my final lesson was amazing”.

BTEC Engineering student Alice Majoroh  as thrilled to get triple D* and is going to University of Kent to study Biomedical Engineering.  Alice says “I chose CTK for the opportunities offered to me as a young Black female Engineer, there is a real sense of belonging and community here.


Daniel Kamara was delighted to get top grades D*D*D* in BTEC Sport & Exercise Science. He gained a place at University of Kent to study Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation.   Daniel said “I chose CTK because I knew this Sixth Form would push me go achieve the best grade possible”.

Christ the King Sixth Forms Executive Principal Shireen Razey said “We are so proud of our students as they move on to their chosen next steps, they have shown resilience, courage and commitment throughout their studies.  I would like to thank all staff for their tremendous support and dedication during these unprecedented times. We wish each of our students every future success in their university, apprenticeship and employment destinations and look forward to hearing of their great successes as CTK Alumni. “
