Trinity School Progression Event
Earlier this month we were delighted here at CTK Emmanuel to host a successful Progression Conference for the keen Year 11 students at Trinity School. The students were welcomed by talks by both the Vice Principal and the Head of Careers about Subject focus and Post 16 options, demonstrating the importance in choosing the right place to go for their higher education. Moreover, in the afternoon had the chance to get involved with many different subjects, some they are familiar with and some new, which they could study at Sixth Form.
The 80 students delved into subjects specific to our Emmanuel site, such as; Engineering, Business and Art and Design, and received invaluable talks by our subject teachers all about what it is like to take these subjects at Sixth Form level.
Currently 64 former Trinity students attend Christ the King Sixth Forms, and we hope to see this continue following the success of our Secondary School visits and events.
