Jonny Haylock
Head of Media
Jonny joined Christ the King Sixth Forms in 2007 as a Performing Arts Technician at CTK Emmanuel. The College supported him in his ambition to become a teacher when he requested to study his PGCE. Once qualifying, he gained a Media and Photography Teacher role at CTK Emmanuel where he quickly proved himself. In 2013 he was promoted to Subject Coordinator of Media, and Photography Teacher/Coordinator. Jonny completed the CTK Leadership Programme a unique year long programme for current and potential leaders. This included him undertaking a detailed action research project entitled ‘ A look at the future of A-Level Media Studies and the impact of the A-Level Reforms and the Russell Group labelling strategy’ Jonny is now Head of Media at CTK St Mary’s.
